ACHIEVEMENT AT BURNT TREE PRIMARY SCHOOL 2016-2017
Good Level of Development (End of Reception)
70% of pupils achieved a good level of development compared with 71% of all
pupils nationally. In order to achieve a good level of development pupils must be
working at the expected standard in the following areas of the EYFS
curriculum: Physical, Personal, social and emotional; Communication and language;
English and maths. This year 58% of disadvantaged pupils achieved the GLD.

Key Stage 2 Achievement and progress
68% of all pupils and 61% of disadvantaged pupils achieved the expected
standard in reading, writing and mathematics. Nationally 61% reached the
standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined in 2017. This is a
significant improvement on our results in 2016. 7% of pupils achieved the
higher standard in all subjects compared with 9% nationally.
