Early Years Trips and Events

We have organised a trip for Reception to see Father Christmas at Ashend House Farm in Tamworth on Wednesday 9th December.  The visit will include a nativity story where they will have a chance to dress up and join in, they will visit Santa in his grotto and be able to speak to him about their Christmas wishes and will also receive a small gift. Children will then have a tour of the farm where they will have the opportunity to feed and touch the animals and hold the baby chicks. The venue has also provided us with an indoor barn for lunch, as well as being able to access the play area.

Every year, children in the Early Years take part and perform in our Christmas Nativity. They act out different parts, sing songs, dress up and have loads of fun performing together! It is a really lovely way for the children to learn about Christmas and to learn the Christmas story.

Sadly, due to the current situation we are not able to have parents/guardians come into school to watch the Nativity this year.

We would still like to continue to do our performance, but propose the idea that it is filmed, and a copy of this is put on a DVD, available for you to buy and take home to watch.
