Violence Reduction partnership.

At Burnt Tree Primary we believe preventative education is most effective approach that prepares pupils for life in modern Britain. The Violence Reduction Partnership came to visit year 6 to explore a real-world scenario through Virtual Reality. The children were faced with multiple decisions in which they must make a choice. Each decision results in various outcomes, showing that every action has a consequence.

Pupil comments.

"The conversations we had today were very deep, and I didn't realise that one action could change someone's life. The VR headset was so fun and taught us valuable life lessons."

"This experience was like nothing I had explored or considered. I learnt a lot about how to keep myself safe. I feel relieved because I feel safe knowing what to do."
